Taking the popular bar mixer one step further, Triton’s trio of innovative Thames vertical mixers see the traditional bar mixer rotated 90° for a streamlined look of shower controls and risers fixed in the same direction. As the incoming pipe work is not of a traditional configuration, installation work is required behind plasterboard, which means the vertical mixers are best suited to new and refurbishment projects.

Incorporating the sleek lever design of the Thames range, the three new vertical shower controls are available with a choice of a standard riser rail, a rigid riser with fixed showerhead, and an impressive shower pole with diverter, for a range of easy to install options.

Easy-Fit Bracket Included as Standard

Even though water inlets need to be cited one above the other, Triton’s specially created ‘Easy-Fit’ vertical bracket ensures installation remains uncomplicated.

Included as standard with all three models, this unique bracket not only aids the installation process but also saves time and money by ensuring no additional trips to the merchants are needed.

Secured to an upright joist in a studded plasterboard wall, the vertical easy-fit bracket makes setting the distance between inlet centres straightforward. Unlike others on the market, has the added benefit of providing extra support for the weight of the shower itself.

Chrome pipe connections extending through the finished wall allows for simple connection of the valve. A chrome trim covers all workings for a professional finish.

Built-in Flexibility

The bracket and trim have been designed to allow for variations in cavity wall depth, tile and plasterboard thickness for a professional finish each time.  The same great flexibility and ease applies to connections at the top of the rigid riser rail and shower pole, which can be easily adjusted to ensure the rail remains completely parallel to the wall.

The standard riser and rigid riser options are suitable for use with all water systems. The shower pole is best suited to a high pressure system unless installed with a pump.

All three models are available from November 09.
