Shower Replacement Guide
When choosing a replacement shower unit for an existing / older model a number of factors should be considered including:
1. The dimensions of unit
2. The KW rating
3. The entry points for both the water and electricity supplies.
In some cases it will be possible to use a unit which is a direct replacement with others, there may be a differences depending on which model is chosen. Our guide will suggest the best unit for replacement purposes, listing the main differences should they apply. It is not possible to cover every possible difference as installations will vary from site to site. The information given should be used as a general guide to help decide which is the best replacement unit.
Further information can be supplied by way of an Installation Guide which are available upon request via our Customer Service Dept on 024 7637 2222 or can be downloaded from this site. Should you have any doubts about which product to install, we would recommend that the relevant Installation guide is viewed prior to purchase and if necessary a suitably qualified Installer consulted.
A common reason for replacing an Electric Shower unit is to increase the KW rating which will allow increased performance in terms of water flow. If it is intended to increase the kw rating of an installation it is important to ensure that both the cable size and fuse protection are sufficient for the increased kw rating. If there is any doubt a suitably qualified tradesman should be consulted to view the installation and, if necessary upgrade accordingly.
