Triton Showers has continued its partnership with Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, by raising an impressive amount of money for the local charity.

Colleagues at Triton came together to organise an egg-citing Easter raffle, helping to donate much-needed funds to the hospice. Just under £950 was initially given, which the shower manufacturer matched and rounded up to a total of £2,000.

Based in Exhall, Zoë’s Place offers respite to families with babies and infants suffering from life-limiting or threatening conditions across the Midlands and beyond. A devoted nursing team at the hospice is always on hand to deliver vital assistance and professional care, at no cost to the user.

The funds raised will go towards the Zoë’s Place ‘Pay for a Day’ campaign, where Triton has pledged to raise £3,300 to cover the approximate costs for a day of care. Triton is one of the first companies to pledge its support for the project, which was founded after Zoë’s Place was forced to reduce its service from seven to around four days per week as a result of the first national lockdown.

Tina Simpson, Marketing Director at Triton Showers said: “Our ongoing connection with Zoë’s Place is extremely important to everyone in the organisation, so we are always looking for interesting activities that the whole team can get involved with.

“It’s wonderful to be able to give aid to such an integral community support system where the staff do an amazing job of providing treatment to those who need it most. We are delighted to be able to show our appreciation and all the employees know that the money will go directly towards helping the charity continue its great work.”

Tanita Mistry, Corporate Fundraiser at Zoë’s Place, said: “We are extremely grateful to Triton for being so dedicated to our cause, they have stood by us for many years. With companies like Triton pledging to sponsor a day of care, Zoë’s Place can continue to provide support for babies and infants and hopefully soon return to providing a seven-day service.”
