TRITON SHOWERS RAISES £10,500 FOR LOCAL CHILDREN'S CHARITY

Triton has continued its partnership with Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice, with a donation towards the local charity’s ‘Shine a Light’ campaign.

The shower manufacturer contributed more than £10,000 to the appeal, a significant milestone in the hospice’s efforts to reach its £25,000 target.

Based in Exhall, Zoë’s Place provides a lifeline to families with babies and infants suffering from life-limiting or threatening illnesses across the Midlands and beyond. A team of devoted nurses at the hospice are committed to providing respite for parents and supporting with professional care and treatments for young ones.

The ‘Shine a Light’ campaign is running throughout December to highlight the work done within the hospice and the impact it has on those relying on these critical services. This forms part of the charity’s goal to return to pre-pandemic operational levels, as it was forced to reduce its service from seven to around four days per week as a result of the first national lockdown.

Tina Simpson, Marketing Director at Triton Showers said: “As part of our ongoing partnership with Zoë’s Place, we are always keen to get involved with their fundraising efforts, helping to maintain the much-needed service that the charity provides.

“Being local to Nuneaton, we are aware of the significant difference the team at the hospice make to those in the community. Given the challenges faced during the pandemic, it’s more important than ever for people to have somewhere they can turn to, in the knowledge they can access help when they most need it. This is why we are delighted to have donated £10,500 to this worthy cause, and we look forward to continuing to partner with the charity going forward.”

Tanita Mistry, Corporate Fundraiser at Zoë’s Place, said: “We’re so grateful to Triton Showers for their continued support. Last year the business donated funds so we could illuminate our hospice with incredible Christmas lights to brighten the mood. This year they have contributed an impressive sum towards our latest appeal, where we wanted to ‘Shine a Light’ on the families we care for and the amazing work we do here at Zoë’s Place. We are hoping to raise a total of £25,000 from the appeal this Christmas, which will allow us to continue the vital services we provide to the families who need us. This significant donation can help us hit our target and keep our services running.”
