Important Product Safety Notice (July 2025) – T80 Pro-Fit™/T80 Pro-Fit™ Eco

It has come to our attention that a small quantity of T80 Pro-Fit™ showers (including T80 Pro-Fit™ Eco) may have a component within the shower temperature valve that is faulty. In rare circumstances this could enable the shower water flow to become restricted. In certain conditions if the temperature control is moved to its maximum, this could result in an abnormal rise in temperature and the potential for very hot water to be briefly emitted, before the shower thermal cut out (TCO) safety device activates to protect the user.

No other Triton shower is affected - the issue has been identified in only a very small number of showers, manufactured with the valve in 2025. This notice has been issued as a precautionary measure.

Only T80 Pro-Fit™ models with manufacturing date code between 01/25 and 06/25 may be affected.

Models potentially affected:

Triton T80 Pro-Fit Electric Shower

Triton T80 Pro-Fit Eco Electric Shower

How to check the model/manufacturing date code:

Affected units will have the model name 'T80 Pro-Fit' or 'T80 Pro-Fit Eco' and one of the below manufacturing date codes on the cover rating label:

01/2025

02/2025

03/2025

04/2025

05/2025

06/2025

To find this information, the cover rating label is located on the underside of your electric shower unit - close to where the hose connects to the shower unit. [see image below]

Is my T80 Pro-Fit™ shower safe to use?

Yes. If your shower is installed and operated in accordance with its instructions, it is still safe to use.

If your 'T80 Pro-Fit' or 'T80 Pro-Fit Eco' has one of these 2025 date codes, then please check that that you can control the water temperature from cold to hot, and back to cold again, as usual. If you have any concerns or find that the water flow or temperature is abnormal, please contact our Customer Experience team on the number below.

What should I do if my shower is affected?

If you believe you have a T80 Pro-Fit affected, please contact our Service team on: safetynotice@tritonshowers.co.uk or telephone 02476 324 473.

We will then (if required) arrange a mutually agreeable time for a Triton engineer to call and carry out a safety inspection to check and correct any issues with the flow valve. Please be assured that this visit would be free of charge and will be undertaken by one of our qualified engineers. The visit should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. The warranty on the shower will not be affected.

Thank you for your co-operation.
