When should you replace a shower hose?
It may be time to replace your shower hose if you experience any of the following;
Leaks: Leaks may develop at the connection points or in the hose itself. Even a small water leak can waste water and impact your shower experience.
Water pressure blockage: A clogged hose can restrict water flow, making your shower feel less powerful.
Stiffness: If your shower hose has become less flexible, it’s likely due to age and wear and tear.
Are Triton shower hoses universal?
Almost all Triton shower hoses are compatible with most shower heads and showers. They use standard 1/2" BSP connections to ensure a hassle-free fit. However, the 1.5m anti-twist smooth shower hose is designed specifically for mixer showers and won’t be suitable for other types of showers, like electric showers.
How do you install a shower hose replacement?
All of our shower hoses come with a standard 1/2" BSP connection for ease of fitting, simply fit the conical end of the shower hose to the shower head. If you are still struggling to install your new shower hose, contact us to request assistance.
