Triton is challenging you to reduce your showering time, one song at a time!

In June, a team of Triton volunteers ventured up to Talacre Beach in North Wales where they teamed up with the Marine Conservation Society for our first ever beach clean.   

This week, to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we treated our current apprentices to a free lunch, and we sat down with some of our them and their recently qualified colleagues to hear their experiences at Triton.

As we have now entered 2024, we look back at another fantastic year for us at Triton Showers. We have achieved so much that we are incredibly proud of over the last year, especially in our drive towards becoming Net Zero by 2035. Here are a few of our big, proud stories that we’re excited to celebrate!

Our very own Sustainability Manager, Dan Lintell delivered a speech about conscious showering, engaging key housing industry leaders and decision-makers to think about the carbon impact of showering in homes, and how different showering solutions can empower organisations to reach their carbon impact goals.

We are thrilled to have been named the winner of Planet Mark’s Sustainability campaign award, in recognition of our ‘Every Drop Makes A Difference’ initiative. 

With people spending extra time at home due to the pandemic, here at Triton we wanted to know more about the impact this is having on the ways we use and waste water every day.

To help us understand the bigger picture in the UK, we commissioned research whereby 2,000 adults were asked to tell us about their consumption habits. The results showed that the shift towards more flexible, remote working has affected everyone’s routines in many different ways.

As occupational therapists do we think about the regulations that are in place to ensure products are safe for our clients to use? To highlight this issue, we take a look at how occupational therapists can be reassured that the showering products they recommend are ideally suited for the application.
